ABOUT US

Mahua Bharatpur Expressways Ltd. (MBEL) is a 57km operational toll road in the state of rajasthan, linking mahua to bharatpur.

The MBEL acquisition enables Cube Highways to operate a contiguous stretch of 166 kms connecting two growing urban centers of Jaipur and Agra on National Highway (‘NH’) 11. The project stretch operates under a 25-year concession, awarded by NHAI after competitive bidding in 2005 for widening of the existing two-lane road to a four-lane divided carriageway on Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis. The project has a well-established operational history of collecting tolls since May 2009, with a remaining concession life of close to 15 years.

MBEL continues to observe robust traffic growth owing to acceleration in the growth of heavy commercial vehicles carrying construction materials from the mountain ranges of Rajasthan towards Uttar Pradesh. The project stretch remains an important route providing connectivity between NH 8 and NH 2, which form a part of the Golden Quadrilateral road network.
